Muellin: Mullein is a great expectorant, soothing coughs and congestion, and loosening phlegm. It also has very mild sedative properties. As such, it is the perfect tea for colds. Be sure, however, to strain the tea through a cloth bag before serving to remove the tiny hairs that will cause even more suffering through mouth and throat irritation.

Boil water but let the water sit about 5 minutes before pouring over your tea. Steep loose tea leaves for 1 to 2 minutes or to your desired strength. The liquor should be aromatic, and the flavours should come out. Something other than bitter or strong are what you’re looking for to start.
**Additionally you may fancy to add a little sweet touch to it, such as honey, maple syrup, or any desired sweetener. You can also re-steep loose leaf tea multiple times!
***Reusable cotton bags can be hand washed, also washing machine friendly!
